Creative concept, and it looked like you put a lot of time into aesthetics, as this game looks put together. The character designs are have been done well, and the animations are smoot.

Some problems with this is that the chain pulling can be quite a tedious process, as it is very slow compared to the player and enemies. Shouldn't the difficulty increase as the player progresses instead of completely depending on the chain? How come only your own bullets move the chain and not the enemy bullets?

For now it just seems like an arcade where the only goal is to get as high a score as possible (I believe that is why you chose the screen to be shaped like that). Unless you want it to stay like that, it would be cool to see a level system. I suggest an option to choose at the start to play in either level mode or an infinite arcade mode.

Overall, it has great potential and I hope you will continue to work on this.

Thanks for trying it out and writing your review!

This game was definitely aimed to be an arcade game. The difficulty does progress, with enemy speeds increasing and waves sizes/speed in-between them. So it's definitely not just the chain! Sorry if that was confusing. You make some very good points, though!

For a game made in 48 hours, this is a masterpiece. It made me want more. The cat is so cute.

This is one of my most favorite escape room games of all time, as it has replay value. There are many things to explore, and I love how interactive the game is (you can move all the bottles, open all the cupboards and even fluff the pillows). The game isn't perfectly true to the folklore though, as Baba Yaga is described to live in house standing on chicken legs. She doesn't fly on a broom either, but sits in a large mortar and uses a broom to push herself. This doesn't affect the game in any way though, so I will not change my rating.

I found the door, went through it and nothing happened?

Each object seems to have been drawn by different people. What is with that MS Paint door? Is that supposed to be a letter on the ground or an oversized mess?

The warning signs are VERY out of place. They seem to be the border, but why the signs? You could have used an invisible wall. Also why does the game reset if the character touches the sign?

The chunky squares in the background are quite an eyesore, as they just make the place look like a very badly painted background. Were they supposed to be a road?

There is no instructions of any sort on the controls. You could have put something useful in the description instead of your YouTube. Those types of links go on your profile, not in an unrelated game.

thank you for responding this is the first game i've made my brother uploaded this so i'm sorry he didn't put controls in the description the graphics are bad and i'm sorry for that you won't want to if you wish to play again the controls are now in the description

The game was dark, and got worse with every beer. This is a clever way of saying to not drink. When at the end everyone died, the repeating "you drink too much" message was the cherry on top.

For being a game that was made in 60 hours, this might be mistaken for a project of at least 2 months! I love the creative idea. This can be quite a rager, especially when you close the tab to calm down and later realising that there is no save option meaning that you have to start over. But for 60 hours, it is perfect.

Onefin responds:

~~but at least when you start over you're better at it so you can make it back faster~~

thanks for the input man! yeah being able to save might have been nice, in an ideal situation i would be making a standalone rather than a browser game and i could just read and write files, but with a browser game i'd have to figure out how to use the Newgrounds API and how cookies work and uh

atm that's a bit beyond me :/ it's not an excuse, it's just i've never done it before

A game that is by far the most creative of them all. It is very calming, and the music suits it well. Despite the lack of much story other than the objective, it is emotional despite it being about a stone golem. I first saw the concept of letting time pass in this game, and I would like to see more abstract concepts like this.

I thought nothing could be just as amazing as your first game. I enjoyed the difficulty of this one. The fake end was clever. The end makes you sympathise with the O. There were some problems though. The X won't place where you want it to if you use a touch-screen laptop. This isn't something that matters though, as this game was never intended to be played that way. I lOved it!

The story is quite interesting as far as I saw. It is quite disappointing that it won't continue. The controls were a bit hard to manage but it was an enjoyable story.

I make pixel art in MS Paint sometimes. I actually don't like cereal that much but I think the name is funny. I like to watch TAWOG.
